ABOUT SAMANTHA
​SKILLED PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL and ADAPTATION SPECIALIST with a master’s degree in resource and environmental management and Community Planning, member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, and 18 years of experience in climate adaptation, food security and sovereignty, resource management and community development. Experience working with First Nations, all levels of government, academia, community groups, the agriculture sector, and the private sector.
SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES and AREAS of EXPERTISE INCLUDE: managing complex projects with numerous stakeholders; strategic planning; adaptation and mitigation analysis; Hazard, Risk & Vulnerability Assessment; virtual and in-person facilitation; employing engagement tools and processes specific to First Nations; advanced research skills; developing and managing funding programs.
